How to Operate a Pipe Crawling Robot Safely – WR030TR Pre-Inspection Checklist Malaysia

A professional pipe crawling robot should not simply be connected, lowered into a manhole and driven forward.

Before every inspection, the operator should confirm that the camera, crawler movement, lighting, cable system, controls and emergency functions are working correctly.

The WR030 manufacturer provides specific pre-use and operating procedures covering system connection, camera testing, crawler movement, cable operation, emergency stop, lowering, driving and retrieval.

A good operating principle is:

CHECK → CONNECT → TEST → LOWER → INSPECT → RETURN → CLEAN


1. Read the Manual Before Operation

The manufacturer's first safety instruction is straightforward:

Read the instruction manual carefully before using the equipment.

 

A pipe crawler is not a simple handheld camera.
