Total Station Keeps Going Out of Level Is the Tripod the Problem? You set up your Total Station carefully. The instrument is centred. The bubble or electronic level looks correct. You begin surveying. But after some time, you check again and discover: The Total Station is no longer properly level. Does this automatically mean the instrument needs calibration?
