ITC Series Industrial Dry Block Product Description:
The JOFRA ITC series industrial dry block temperature calibrators are highly portable and easy to operate, while offering excellent accuracy and performance at a relatively affordable price.
ITC Series Industrial Dry Block Product Performance:
The ITC series temperature calibrators adopt a robust and lightweight design similar to the CTC series. The panel design is simple and intuitive, using an LCD screen. The internal design incorporates technologies such as dual-zone heating and MVI. These features make the ITC suitable for both field and laboratory use.
The ITC series includes three models, each corresponding to a different temperature range. All models have an RS232 interface, and JOFRACAL calibration software is included as standard.
ITC series industrial dry well temperature range:
ITC-155 -23° C 155°C
ITC-320 33 320°C
ITC-650 33 650°C
Improved temperature consistency:
The unique dual-zone design ensures temperature consistency in the calibration areas for heating or cooling .
Enhanced stability:
The MVI circuitry guarantees temperature stability during power supply voltage fluctuations .
Time-saving calibration:
Rapid operation with automatic switching tests and automatic stepping functions.
Data processing capabilities:
RS232 communication interface and JOFRACAL software are standard features .
ITC-320 and ITC-650 dual-zone heating modules.
The dual-zone heating design significantly improves temperature consistency across the calibration area. The lower heating zone ensures appropriate heat dissipation for the entire heating block , while the upper heating zone compensates for heat loss from the upper part of the heating element and the sensor under test . This design eliminates the need for heat insulation of the probe under test and can calibrate liquid-filled or other mechanical probes .
Switch test ( Type B only ) .
The calibrator can perform temperature switch tests , automatically recording the on / off points and dead zones , and can retain data from five tests . However, this data cannot be uploaded to a computer ; it can only be stored in the calibrator .
Automatic stepping...
Up to 20 automatic stepping steps can be set , including the hold time for each step . After completing an automatic stepping cycle , the user can easily read the test data of the probe under test . Up to 5 sets of automatic stepping test data can be stored . MVI improves temperature stability.
MVI stands for "Mains Power Variance Immunity," meaning power fluctuation elimination . Unstable power supply is a major cause of inaccuracies in field calibrators . Typical calibrators are unstable in the field due to frequent start-ups and shutdowns of large motors or other equipment , leading to power instability . Power fluctuations cause temperature controller instability , resulting in reading errors and temperature fluctuations . The JOFRA ITC uses MVI technology to avoid this instability problem . The MVI circuit constantly monitors the supply voltage and ensures a stable energy supply to the heating element . Other ITC models operate on regulated DC voltage and therefore do not require an MVI circuit for stable operation . (Stability indicator)
Once the calibrator reaches and stabilizes at the set temperature, a bold checkmark will appear on the screen. The operator can adjust the stabilization conditions to achieve more stringent calibration results. A *** indicator will appear 5 minutes before the calibrator reaches stabilization, indicating the time required.
Simplified calibration documentation.
All ITC series calibrators come standard with JOFRACAL software . This Windows- based software allows for the setup of the calibration process . It is very easy to use , requiring no programmers to easily configure calibration steps . The software provides prompts , menus, and help functions during setup .
The required calibration work can be stored in a " work order " file and downloaded from the computer to the calibrator via the RS232 interface .
