PTC series dry block furnaces have unique temperature performance:
The PTC  series dry block furnace can precisely calibrate various probe models thanks to its advanced dual-zone heating technology All JOFRA PTC  series dry block furnaces feature dual-zone heating Each  heating zone can be independently controlled for temperature measurement The temperature consistency at the bottom of the heating block closely approximates the specifications of a laboratory liquid bath .  The lower heating zone ensures appropriate heat dissipation across the entire heating block while the upper heating zone compensates for heat loss at the top of the heating element This design eliminates the need for heat insulation of the probe under test and can calibrate liquid-filled or other mechanical probes.

 
Unique reference probe design :
The STS-150  reference probe is specially designed. AMETEK  offers reference probes with a 90° bend, where the upper end protrudes only slightly above the top of the sleeve when inserted. This special design makes it very convenient to calibrate temperature sensors with a connecting cap on top.

Easy to carry :
Dry block ovens are often used in different settings, so it is essential to reduce their weight as much as possible.
We maintained this commitment throughout the design process, and ultimately, we successfully made the RTC  dry block furnace both compact and lightweight — easy to carry—while retaining its reliability — combining high precision and high durability.
 
Quick calibration :
Time is of the essence! The PTC dry block furnace has made significant improvements in heating and cooling speeds. For example, it only takes 7 minutes to heat from 33 °C to 350 °C . The advantage of rapid heating and cooling is that it can greatly reduce equipment downtime.

 
New Multi-Hole Sleeve Kits: Two multi-hole sleeve kits are available to accommodate the vast majority of temperature probe sizes. The first kit is a metric kit containing four sleeves with opening sizes starting from 3mm.
13mm . Another kit is the imperial kit, which includes sleeves with opening sizes from 1/8".1/2" .

All sleeves have pre-drilled reference probe holes. Once these sleeves are included in the carrying case, users can calibrate temperature probes of all commonly used sizes.
 
Wide temperature range:
The PTC dry block oven can provide a wide temperature range: from -25 °C to 660 °C. Only two dry block ovens are needed to cover a temperature range of 685 °C.
 
USB  Communication: The new USB interface allows all laptops to easily connect to the dry block oven, eliminating the need for a USB to RS232 adapter cable.

 
Intelligent Calibration Information Indication (IRI) : In accordance with ISO, SOP, and FDA  regulations, calibrators exceeding their calibration expiration period must never be used. The PTC  series dry-block calibrators can detect the calibration expiration period of the dry-block calibrator and STS probe in real time and remind users to perform regular calibration. When the calibration expiration period is exceeded, the dry-block calibrator will display an alarm on the screen, preventing potentially significant losses due to instrument malfunctions.

 
Intelligent Reference Probe:
The JOFRA STS-150  intelligent reference probe has built-in temperature correction parameters. Firstly, this means this operation is risky  ) . Secondly, users can freely replace the intelligent probe, as  AMETEK  has eliminated measurement errors caused by changing different probes. This is a truly plug-and-play calibration system.
