[The Double Tightening Detection System] The CSPFHW series uses a gyro sensor to detect angle data, to make double tightening judgments.
• At stage 1, angle detection starts when trigger torque is reached, and a light clicking sensation is felt (at position “a”). At stage 2, when the set torque is reached, a strong clicking sensation with a distinctive clicking sound is felt (at position “b”).
• If the rotated angle is less than the set double tightening judgment angle (a - b'), double tightening is determined, resulting in a “NG” (No Good) judgment.
LED indicator status: When the receiver correctly receives a tightened-to-completion signal, the LED light glows blue, which means “OK”. When the receiver cannot receive a tightened-to-completion signal, the LED flashes red three times, which means “NG” (No Good). When the judgment is double tightening (NG), the LED light glows red.

■ The March 2024 upgrade lets you switch between old and new communication modes using only the transmitter.

Features
- Comes with double tightening detection to permit highly reliable “pokayoke” error proofing.
- When the CSPFHW is used to retighten bolts and nuts that have already been tightened once, the action will be judged as double tightening, causing NG (“No Good”) to be displayed and the LED light to show red.
- The large LED makes it easy for the operator to check close at hand the telecommunication status and whether double tightening has occurred.
- New Communication Mode permits use of the new R-CM Wireless Receiver with Interchangeable Modules. New Communication Mode extends wireless distance to around 20–30 meters, while also permitting R-CM monitoring of the transmitter battery voltage. This helps prevent transmission failures caused by unexpected reduction in voltage.
- For wireless CH settings, you can use the same receiver (R-CM) and the same setting controller (SB-FH2) as those for the FH wireless Pokayoke (error proofing) torque wrench. This gives you double tightening detection with the purchase of only the torque wrench, reducing purchase cost.
- Traceability is connected. Torque wrenches can be identified with a 7-digit alphanumeric character ID or 3-digit ID, so the torque wrench used for tightening can be specified. This permits traceability. * The ID can be set using special software downloaded for free from “Software” at the bottom of this page.
- Battery life: Can be used approx. 150,000 times. One AAA alkaline battery should provide enough power for more than 150,000 operations. For example, even if the number of times is 3,600 per day, the battery can be used for at least two months. This reduces battery expense and the number of battery replacements.
- The model features interchangeable heads, permitting a wide variety of tightening tasks using different heads, including open end, ring head, and ratchet head.
- The March 2024 upgrade lets you use the transmitter to check and switch between new and old communication modes.

Can also be used in China.
-
One R-CM receiver can communicate with a maximum of four torque devices, but it does not function with a mixture of new and old communication modes.
-
When the product is shipped, it is set to the new communication mode. If you wish to change to the older communication mode, you need to operate the switch on the transmitter.
-
Before the product is shipped, we can custom set the channel and group ID (for a fee). At the same time, we can also change the communication mode from old to new or vice versa.
Standard accessory
-
One AAA alkaline battery (for testing)
-
Protective cover FHW-PCV: 1
