The GTYQ-MIC-500S-IR2 Dual-Beam Infrared Flammable Gas Detector utilizes a dual-beam infrared detection principle with a redundant dual-light-source design. The sensor has a service life of up to 10 years and features a temperature-controlled heating system to prevent condensation, making it suitable for extreme industrial environments characterized by high humidity, high dust levels, and significant temperature fluctuations. The device provides 24-hour continuous online monitoring of methane, VOCs, and hydrocarbon flammable gas leaks and concentration exceedances. The Dual-Beam Infrared Flammable Gas Detector supports multiple detection methods, including diffusion, flow-through, and piped systems, and features multi-signal output, massive data storage, wireless remote transmission, and remote control operation without opening the housing. The entire unit is explosion-proof to Ex db IIC T6 Gb and complies with the latest national standards such as GB12358-2024. It comes with CPA certification and a full set of explosion-proof qualifications. Widely used in high-risk facilities such as RTO furnaces, petroleum, chemical, gas, and metallurgical plants, it provides long-term, stable monitoring and significantly reduces the risk of false alarms and missed detections.

Full-range constant-temperature heating ensures normal operation in extreme environments: Dual constant-temperature heating for the main unit and optical window eliminates condensation at low temperatures and interference from rain and snow. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 80°C. The Dual-Beam Infrared Flammable Gas Detector is available in a customizable -60°C low-temperature version for stable detection in high-humidity and high-dust environments.
User-friendly design enables commissioning in hazardous areas without opening the housing: The Dual-Beam Infrared Flammable Gas Detector comes standard with a 15-meter infrared remote control and magnetic wand touch control, allowing parameter settings and calibration to be completed without opening the housing; four-button local operation and a 2-inch color LCD screen display real-time curves, peak values, and alarm logs in real time; an optional LED segment display is available.
Multi-signal compatibility with support for remote networking and management: Simultaneously outputs 4–20 mA, relay switching signals, and RS485; optional Hart, LoRa/4G/NB-IoT wireless transmission; supports cascading of up to 100 devices; enables remote viewing, remote upgrades, and data recovery to build a comprehensive gas monitoring network across the entire facility.
Large-capacity storage and multi-mode hierarchical alarms: The Dual-Beam Infrared Flammable Gas Detector features built-in storage for over 200,000 data records, which can be exported for traceability; it supports multi-level alarms including low, high, range, and TWA/STEL, with distinguishable alarm volume and frequency, and simultaneously identifies dual alarms for both concentration and device malfunctions.
High explosion-proof protection with full compliance certification: Ex db IIC T6 flameproof enclosure, IP66 protection (upgradable to IP67), cast aluminum/stainless steel housing, vibration-resistant and anti-static; holds a full suite of certifications including CPA metrology, explosion-proof certification, and ISO three-system certification, meeting safety supervision acceptance standards.
Flexible installation options and switchable measurement units: The Dual-Beam Infrared Flammable Gas Detector supports three detection modes—diffusion, flow-through, and piped—with a measurement range covering 0–100% LEL and 0–5% Vol. Units (% Vol, % LEL, ppm) can be freely switched.
