Cleanroom Classification Standards
Like the international standard ISO 14644, cleanroom classification standards classify the air cleanliness level of cleanrooms (areas) and related controlled environments based solely on suspended particle concentration. These standards only consider particles with a cumulative distribution within the particle size limit (lower limit) of 0.1 to 5.0 μm. The Necessity of the Eranntex MIC3000 Online Cleanroom Particle Counter
1. Standard requirements for online monitoring. The new GMP hardware requirements have increased the standards for some production conditions and added requirements for online monitoring. Specifically, detailed regulations are provided for static and dynamic monitoring of suspended particles (i.e., suspended microorganisms in the production environment), as well as monitoring of planktonic bacteria, settling bacteria (microorganisms in the production environment), and surface microorganisms.
2. Intelligent automatic control without manual intervention. Online particle counters can monitor the number of suspended particles in the cleanroom in real time and issue prompt alarms. They also feature intelligent linkage with cleanroom equipment such as FFU fans, consistently maintaining the number of suspended particles within the standard range. This minimizes energy consumption and equipment loss.
3. Covering the entire production process, reducing contamination risks. 24/7 continuous monitoring ensures maximum product contamination protection throughout the entire production process, improving product quality.
Particle counter principle: A particle counter draws sample gas through a sampling pump. In a laser chamber, a laser illuminates the sample gas. The frequency of the flashes reflected by the particles represents the number of particles, and the intensity of the reflected light represents the particle size.
The Eranntex MIC3000 Online Cleanroom Particle Counter is based on the principle of laser scattering. It utilizes an industrial-grade, long-life, high-temperature-resistant linear laser and an automotive-grade, high-flow turbofan. It can stably, reliably, and accurately display the number of particles larger than 0.3μm. It supports 485 communication, enabling remote monitoring of dust concentration changes in the working environment.
