The TA8331A digital earth resistance tester is a professional instrument designed for measuring earth resistance and earth voltage in electrical grounding systems. It is widely used in power distribution, lightning protection, industrial maintenance, telecommunications, building installations and preventive electrical inspections to verify the safety and reliability of grounding systems. The tester utilizes the industry-standard 4-pole measurement method and also supports 2-pole simplified testing, providing flexible solutions for both standard installations and sites where auxiliary earth electrodes cannot be easily installed. With a measurement range of 0–2000Ω, it is suitable for testing protective grounding systems, electrical equipment, transformers, distribution panels and grounding networks. Built-in AC 200V earth voltage measurement allows users to verify the presence of hazardous voltage before testing, improving operational safety. A large LCD displays measurement results clearly and includes Data Hold, low battery indication and over-range warning for convenient field operation. The instrument can be powered by batteries or an external DC adapter, making it suitable for both portable inspections and continuous testing. Designed in accordance with IEC safety standards, the TA8331A features overload protection, double insulation and complete test accessories, delivering reliable performance for electrical contractors, maintenance engineers and grounding system inspections.
