PTC-125 Cryogenic Dry Well Performance Characteristics:
Excellent temperature consistency:
The PTC series dry block furnaces can precisely calibrate various models and types of temperature probes .   All JOFRA PTC  series dry block furnaces feature dual-zone heating, with each zone independently controllable for temperature measurements. Temperature consistency at the bottom of the heating block closely approximates the specifications of a laboratory liquid bath. The lower heating zone ensures appropriate heat dissipation across the entire heating block, while the upper heating zone compensates for heat loss from the upper part of the heating element and the sensor under test. This design eliminates the need for heat insulation of the probe under test and can calibrate liquid-filled or other mechanical probes. 
 
Wide temperature range :
(-130 to 257°F) . This makes it possible to calibrate a probe that operates at ultra-low temperatures to sterilization temperatures (such as in medical and pharmaceutical SIP systems).
 
Rapid Calibration :
Time is of the essence! The PTC dry block furnace has made significant improvements in heating and cooling speeds. The benefit of rapid heating and cooling lies in greatly reducing equipment downtime and calibration costs.

 
Intelligent Calibration Probe Interface :
The JOFRA STS-150 intelligent temperature probe includes all independent calibration parameters and data for the probe, meaning there's no need to download temperature compensation parameters to a computer an operation that carries risks . Users can easily switch to different STS probes and start working immediately. By using these reference probes, AMETEK has avoided measurement errors associated with changing probes, making it a truly plug-and-play probe. 


 
Intelligent Calibration Information (IRI):
In accordance with ISO, SOP  , and FDA  regulations and requirements, calibrators exceeding their calibration expiration period must never be used. The PTC  series dry-block calibrators can detect the calibration expiration period of the dry-block calibrator and STS probe in real time and remind users to perform regular calibration. When the calibration expiration period is exceeded, the dry-block calibrator will display an alarm on the screen, preventing potentially significant losses due to instrument malfunctions.

 
USB  Communication Interface :
The new USB interface allows all laptops to easily connect to the dry block oven, eliminating the need for a USB -to- RS232 adapter cable.
To accommodate future applications, the RTC also features a LAN interface, an SD card slot, and a USB hub, enabling firmware upgrades via network download.

 
High-efficiency refrigeration technology:
The PTC-125 combines cooling and heating capabilities, utilizing free-piston Stirling refrigeration technology as its cooling source. Its efficiency is far superior to older thermoelectric refrigeration technologies.

 
Intuitive and user-friendly interface: The
5.7”  full-color VGA display is larger and brighter, ensuring clear reading even from a distance. Various parameters, including setpoints and actual values, are displayed on the screen, and the calibration process and each stage can also be easily read on the screen. The navigation menu is logically designed and displays all important information for the current function. A communication window pops up with an audio message when a prompt appears.

Enhanced stability:
Once the PTC dry furnace reaches and stabilizes at the preset temperature, a stability indicator will appear on the LCD screen. Users can easily and quickly change the stabilization conditions: external reference probe and probe under test. The stabilization condition settings ensure accurate calibration. A timeout will be displayed next to the temperature reading to indicate the time required to reach stabilization.
